The tested organic fertilizers were poultry manure, vinasse-based fertilizer, and insect&#8217;s frass fertilizer. The results showed that vinasse-based fertilizer was the most suitable for providing mineral nitrogen in the short term. All fertilizers increased shoot fresh and dry weight, with vinasse-based fertilizer and insect&#8217;s frass having a more pronounced effect. Insect frass reduced leaf nitrate concentration by 27% and reduced toxic heavy metal Pb by 46% in organically fertilized lettuce leaves. Soil enzymatic activities were enhanced by poultry manure and insect&#8217;s frass, while vinasse-based fertilizer increased ArS, NAGase, and THA.
