This method is suitable and effective for application of several Hello Nature fertilizers and products with biostimulant action, like vegetal protein hydrolysates. \u00a0Foliar application is effective to supply minor nutrients like iron, copper, boron, zinc, molybdenum and manganese. Foliar feeding targets the growth stages where declining rates of photosynthesis and levelling off of root growth and nutrient absorption occur, in attempts to aid translocation of nutrients into seed, fruit, tuber or vegetative production. Secondarily, foliar feeding can be an effective management tool to favorably influence pre-reproductive growth stages by compensating for environmentally induced stresses of adverse growing conditions and\/ or poor nutrient availability. It\u2019s proven that on the average, farmers are able to harvest only 50% of the yield potential. The yield gap can be caused by biotic and abiotic stresses with a stronger negative impact of abiotic stresses. In fact, abiotic stresses like heat, cold, salt, drought and flooding caused from 65 to 75% of the yield gap, while biotic stress only 25 to 35%. Biostimulants are known to enhance the tolerance of plants and crops to abiotic stresses and allow to achieve a higher level of yield in situations where the environmental conditions are not optimal which will be always more common due to climate change and soil degradation all over the world.
