The research aimed to determine if a commercial AMF inoculum (CI) combined with P fertilizer (+P at 90 kg P ha\u22121) could enhance plant performance better than indigenous fungi alone.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"829\">Enhanced Lettuce Growth Through Mycorrhiza and Phosphorus Effects<\/h3><p data-start=\"831\" data-end=\"1363\">Greenhouse experiments demonstrated that lettuce plants treated with both commercial inoculum and P fertilizer (+CI+P) achieved significantly higher biomass. The combination improved P nutrition while reducing As accumulation in both shoots and roots. These results highlight the practical significance of <strong data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1185\">Mycorrhiza and Phosphorus Effects on Lettuce<\/strong> in promoting growth under toxic soil conditions. Moreover, plants receiving only native AMF showed smaller growth improvements, emphasizing the benefits of targeted inoculation.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1418\">Influence on Soil Phosphorus and Arsenic Dynamics<\/h3><p data-start=\"1420\" data-end=\"1849\">In the rhizosphere of +CI+P plants, P levels were lower compared to \u2212CI+P treatments, indicating greater nutrient uptake. At the same time, As concentrations in the soil did not increase, demonstrating that inoculation and P addition can mitigate As toxicity safely. These findings confirm that <strong data-start=\"1715\" data-end=\"1763\">Mycorrhiza and Phosphorus Effects on Lettuce<\/strong> extend beyond plant growth, influencing soil nutrient dynamics and overall fertility.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1851\" data-end=\"1910\">Practical Implications for Contaminated Soil Management<\/h3><p data-start=\"1912\" data-end=\"2328\">Overall, the study underscores the value of combining beneficial microbes with P fertilization to improve lettuce growth in arsenic-contaminated soils.
