Recent studies highlight <strong data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"744\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hello-nature.com\/int\/biostimulants-psp\/\">Biostimulant<\/a>-Induced Metabolomic Responses<\/strong> as an important mechanism by which seed applications of protein hydrolyzates and microbial consortia improve both shoot and root development.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"890\" data-end=\"936\">Enhancing Shoot Biomass with Biostimulants<\/h3><p data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"1223\">Protein hydrolyzate-based treatments (PH), applied alone or with Trichoderma koningii TK7 and rhizobacteria, significantly increased shoot biomass by 16.6% compared to untreated plants. These effects are associated with changes in secondary metabolism and hormone signaling pathways.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1225\" data-end=\"1284\">Promoting Root Development through Microbial Treatments<\/h3><p data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1537\">Inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and Trichoderma led to a 48% increase in root dry biomass. This indicates that microbial <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hello-nature.com\/int\/biostimulants-psp\/\"><strong data-start=\"1427\" data-end=\"1444\">biostimulants<\/strong><\/a> selectively stimulate root growth, supporting nutrient uptake and overall plant stability.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"1539\" data-end=\"1591\">Metabolic Reprogramming Induced by Biostimulants<\/h3><p data-start=\"1593\" data-end=\"2024\">Different biostimulant treatments resulted in distinctive metabolomic profiles, reflecting unique molecular pathways. Secondary metabolites, including phenylpropanoids and terpenes, were highly affected. Protein hydrolyzate treatments promoted the accumulation of these compounds, while microorganisms alone showed contrasting trends. These findings illustrate the complex <strong data-start=\"1966\" data-end=\"2012\">Biostimulant-Induced Metabolomic Responses<\/strong> in maize.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"2026\" data-end=\"2081\">Mechanisms Underlying Growth and Metabolism Changes<\/h3><p data-start=\"2083\" data-end=\"2370\">The observed increases in biomass and metabolic shifts can be linked to modulation of phytohormone interactions and improved nitrogen use efficiency via the GS-GOGAT system. This demonstrates how biostimulants orchestrate physiological and molecular responses to optimize maize growth.<\/p><h3 data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2429\">Conclusion: Biostimulants for Sustainable Agriculture<\/h3><p data-start=\"2431\" data-end=\"2735\">Overall, microbial and non-microbial biostimulants enhance maize growth and metabolic activity.
