HI-Q Thiols

HI-Q Thiols is an enhanced nutrient-rich leaf liquid fertilizer created specifically for crops associated with winemaking. It contains a rich assortment of beneficial ingredients including nitrogen, magnesium, and sulfur. HI-Q Thiols has a synergistic effect on the synthesis of aromatic precursors, the thiols, which play an important role to improve the aromatic expressions of wines. 

HI-Q range is a complete range of innovative solutions combining our Plant Stimulating Peptides and a high content of micronutrients, for a strong nutritional and biostimulant action. The presence of PSP, coming from the Vegetal Protein Hydrolysates (VPH), improves the ability of plants to absorb nutrients in order to better prevent or cure nutritional deficiencies and disorders. All HI-Q solutions are to be applied foliar, so that the action is even quicker and effective. HI-Q Thiols N- Mg-S (16-4-9) is specially developed for applications on vineyards. Nitrogen: promotes alcoholic fermentation and enhances the fruity aromas of musts. Sulphur: has a synergistic effect on the synthesis of aromatic precursors, the thiols in white and rosé wine. Magnesium: improves photosynthesis (sugar production) and stimulates a lot of enzymatic processes of the plant. HI-Q Thiols addresses sustainable agriculture practices. Ideal for use as a foliar fertilizer, HI-Q Thiols can be safely paired with insecticides, fungicides, growth regulators, adjuvants, biocontrol protects, and other foliar fertilizers.

Plays a very important role in various plant physiological processes. It imparts dark-green color in plants, promotes leaves, stem and other vegetative part’s growth and development. Moreover, it also stimulates root growth. N produces rapid early growth, enhances the growth of leafy vegetables, increases protein content of fodder crops.

Is actively involved in metabolism and in the synthesis of oils, especially in oil crops and has a synergistic effect on the synthesis of aromatic precursors, the thiols in white and rosé wine. S aids in seed production, chlorophyll formation, nodule formation in legumes, and stabilizing protein structure.

The predominant role of Magnesium (Mg) is as a major constituent of the chlorophyll molecule, and it is therefore actively involved in photosynthesis. It aids phosphate absorption and translocation, serving as a carrier of phosphate compounds through the plant. Mg facilitates translocation of carbohydrates (sugars and starches) and enhances the production of oils and fats.
